Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This was my other resolution - I used to do it years ago and just fell out of the habit. We go through so much yogurt in our house - it would definitely be a budget saver to be able to make it again. Does anyone use a yogurt maker they recommend which may make it easier - when I did it I would heat the milk to just below boiling, then cool it, then add the culture, then incubate etc- not that much work I know, but I wonder if there is an easier way.

Thanks again for any advice.

I use this yogurt maker. You still have to heat and cool the milk, but the maker then keeps it at the right temp in order to incubate. I don't know of anything that does the heating for you, which of course would make it easier. It is so cheap and well worth the $$.

Thanks for the recommendation, Beth! I'm looking into this one too. Thanks for starting a thread, Marilyn.
