There has been talk of a possible 4 Real conference that will likely be in the east. But for those of you in the midwest and west there is an opportunty to hear Elziabeth this June in Colorado. It was briefly mentioned before in another thread, but now all the registration and website materials are up so I wanted to officially announce...
Rocky Mountain Catholic Home Educators Conference
Denver, CO
June 22-23, 2007
Featuring Elizabeth Foss (and Karoline)
Elizabeth has graciously accepted the invitation to present at this conference. She is not currently accepting many speaking engagements so this is a rare opportunity. Come and enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains and hear Elizabeth as she shares her wisdom and experience. Another awesome 4 Real member who will also be a speaker is Kim Fry.
For more information visit our conference website or contact me directly. If you would like a registration brochure mailed to you please PM me.
Additional Speakers: Catholic composer - Eric Genuis, Kelly and Bob Roper(MODG consultant), Dianne Craft, Fr. Kevin Augustyn. Vendors open evening of June 21.
This can be our western 4 Real conference. There are several of us here who would be up for additional 4 Real activities prior to or following the conference for anyone who wants to come!

Hey, guess what? A little bird tells me that MacBeth is taking Libby to Colorado the week before the conference. And I happen to know what kind of workshop/Q&A thing happens when you put me at a table with my oldest and dearest CM Companion in the world...
So...if I were planning a conference in Denver, I might, say, maybe, start bombarding MacBeth with imploring e-mails and promises for all sorts of Denver goodies .

This is awesome! Nick is sending me (alone, can you believe that!!) to Fort Collins (2 hours north of Denver) on a househunting trip at the end of June. I think it'll have to include the 22-23rd!

Kim and I have been collaborating on this for---oh, years!
I'm definitely planning on bringing notebooks. I'm limited because I don't want to lug too many on the plane but I'll have a few.
Truthfully, Kim's are better. She's the visual arts queen.

This conference sounds wonderful, and I've never been to a Catholic hs conference - I can't make my regular conference in town this year, so this one might really work out! I'm hoping to be there, just need to double check with my husband.

I had wondered about that. Yeah! I guess we'll have to start that email campaign.

Yes, they usually tape the talks though I haven't heard for sure. I'm not much involved with the planning this year.

Just what I was hoping - darn you can't make it this year! That would have been really cool.
