First, for on-going situations with two of my siblings. Instead of coming to me to sort things out, they are choosing to make my poor husband the middle man. Prayers for him as he attempts to make it clear that this is not an acceptable way to communicate. I am losing much sleep over these rifts, much of it lost to hurt, anger, and frustration, and it is negatively affecting daily life.

Second, for an opportunity that has suddenly fallen into our laps. We have hoped for years that we might find an acreage on which to live and pursue a measure of self-sustainability. We have considered many options, looked at countless properties, and we found one today that is coming up for auction in ten days. It is the right size (just over 10 acres), the house has been well-maintained as have the outbuildings, and the house is large enough for our growing family. Unfortunately it is about 10 miles from where we really want to be, and far enough from here that we would have to give up virtually all of our activities with little likelihood of being able to resume them. Thus the opportunity is going to require some heavy-duty discernment. Prayers for guidance, discernment, and peace with whatever the outcome would be greatly appreciated!!! Prayers especially that I might be at peace in the process would be appreciated as I am already stressed out over other things and not coping particularly well.

Update 4/3

Well, no land for us again. We are disappointed, but God was gracious and made it abundantly clear we are to stay put for now. At least there are no "what ifs."

Sibling issues remain. Continued prayers for that would be appreciated.
