We just got back from the second morning (ALL morning) out of the last 3 mornings at Urgent Care. She's had a fever over 102 for 5 days and a horrible, horrible cough.  She hasn't slept more than 30 minutes without waking up coughing and choking as she tries to catch her breath.
The doctors are FINALLY listening to me about how sick Rachel has been.  Today they did a chest x-ray and she has bronchitis and possible pneumonia. She's finally on an antibiotic.
Please pray she feels better soon. We just got over the stomach flu as well!! 
UPDATE 4:
Well, we went to the ER last night with Rachel. The radiologist did confirm she has pneumonia in her right lung. We spent 3 1/2 hours there and she received a breathing treatment and we were sent home with the machine to administer more treatments as needed.
Today, for the first time in a week, her temp. is under 100. Unfortunately, the medicine for the breathing treatment is causing her to be extremely irritable. I mean extremely! She basically cried all morning until she fell asleep. All that crying just causes more coughing. She only has one more dose of antibiotic. We go to see her regular pediatrician on base Thursday morning.
Thank you, again, so much for the prayers. Please keep them coming. Our boys are right in the middle of a Christian Youth Theater performance (for the next 2 weeks) and I have to be running them around all the time...with Rachel. And to Taekwondo. I feel like we're drowning here.

Praying for Rachel! May her recovery go quickly and smoothly now that she has been diagnosed. It is so difficult when sickness comes in waves!!!

Oh, Lisa....I can so relate..that was my early winter fun!! Even my 15yo ran a 102 fever on and off for six days before someone listened to me...and he has pneumonia as well! They do seem to feel a lot better after 24 hours on the antibiotic! I will pray Rachel and Hannah feel better very quickly and you can get a little break!

Thanks for all the prayers and PM's.
Hannah is doing better. Don't know what her mild fever was. I'm just glad it's over! Thank you, Lord!
However, Rachel isn't doing better at all. We can't get her fever down and she's still coughing like crazy. My dh (a pharmacist) is thinking maybe she's on the wrong antibiotic or the infection she has is resistant and the meds. need to be changed. We're giving it one more day before I call the dr. again. She's just so fragile. I think between her cleft palate/lip and coming to us with such a horrible case of giardia (that took 3 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of  )just wore her little body down for so long and she just can't get stronger. Or at least hasn't gotten strong enough yet. It's so hard to watch her struggle and suffer at all. She's just so tiny and usually has such a sweet smile. You just want to eat her up! 
Now I'm starting to feel crummy again with the same sinus stuff/scratchy throat etc. I just got over. I'm sure it's just because I'm so run down as well.

So sorry this continues to be such a struggle for Rachel! If only someone could help run the boys so she wouldn't have to travel so much! Hugs to you and her, mommy!
