My dh was assualted at work today after giving disciplinary action to an employee. The guy threw coffee on him, tried to fight dh,and later the guy's wife threatened that dh "would get what's coming to you." Of course, charges have to be filed and dh is being careful, but having him several states away and alone worries me.
I will update later, and thank you all in advance for your prayers.

Thank you all! I know my heart has been calmer because of your prayers. As of now, all is settling down.
I had forgotten that because he was on a military base, it would be military police to address the situation--they didn't take the assult lightly (not that any police would). Also, by God's great providence, dh is staying at a new, as in different from usual, hotel, so the employee does not know where dh is.
Please add that employee and his family to your prayers if you could. He now is unemployed and that is a very tough situation to be in, in an area where jobs are not plentiful. Obviously there are other factors now, too.
Thank you all so much! It was a good and comforting thing to be able to ask for prayer and know they would be heard. you guys are awesome

or, as dh said, "effectively resigned today." He didn't have to lose his job, and that's the saddest part.
Sad for everyone involved.
