Please pray for a mother of 4, age 30, who is in her last stages of cancer. Her youngest is 18 mo. and her oldest is around 6 or so. May God help her and her family!

She is in my prayers after I finish writing this. When my first dh was dying of cancer, Joe was only 3 and Cate just 11 months -- Mike had just celebrated his 31st bday (4 days before he died) and I was 30.....
That was hard enough; but to lose your mom when you're so little. The poor family. I'll start those prayers right away!

Praying, too! Isn't this a mother's worst nightmare, dying when your children are young? It makes me very sad! Sarah, is this a friend of yours? How is her husband doing? Extended family? Praying!

This is a woman I have met who is part of a neighboring city's homeschooling crowd and her husband's father works everyday with my husband (he would be the grandpa to these children). Her sister-in-law was my sister-in-law's college roommate (this sounds kind of silly, I know). We have lots of connections to her family. Her parents are in her city and she's surrounded my in-laws. One of her sister-in-laws is taking a semester off college to help her in her last days with her children and to just be there and her husband is calling hospice soon as she can only eat a few bites of food daily. It hits too close to home for me being close to the same age with similar aged children. Thanks for the prayers. She's battled this for over two years. God Bless Her!

I am praying through my tears.
I know that "all things work together for good for those who love Him" but boy I wish I could see the good in situations like this. I trust it, but am impatient.
