Could you say a prayer for my mil, please?

She had back surgery recently and was home and doing ok but started having some really painful back spasms that the pain meds weren't touching. An ambulance took her to the hospital this afternoon and her blood sugar was quite high and she has some sort of infection. She's in the hospital for the night and they seem to have the pain under control but won't know what the infection is for a day or so.

Please also pray for my fil...I think he's quite concerned about her.

My dh could also use some prayers about this. He's an RN so he's keeping a pretty clear head about it (but can also imagine far worse things than a non-medical person!)...he feels bad about not being there (we're in OH and they are in Utah ).

Thank you all for your prayers! I really appreciate it...no one in my dh's family practices a faith of any sort (except dh ) so there's not a lot of prayer going on for her within the family.

My mil remains in the hospital. The infection is in her blood . She went back to the OR to have her surgical site cleaned up. We're worried about her because she isn't in the best of health (diabetic, quite overweight and it seems to take forever for her to kick any illness).

Thanks for keeping her in your prayers...her name is Leslie.
