Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What Browser do you use for the Internet most often?

Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or another one?

Do you have a reason for your preference?

Thanks....(I would do a poll but don't think I can do that here....)

I use explorer just because that's the default on my computer! I know a lot of people use and like Firefox but I'm too lazy to 1) go figure out how to put it on my computer and 2) have to sit and figure out the difference once it's on my computer!

Google Chrome. I like it better, the pages seem to load faster. I just seem to prefer all things Google :)

Firefox. I have had very few problems with it--much fewer crashes than when I was using IE. My husband tried both Chrome and Opera but has settled on Firefox too. I tried Chrome briefly, but it doesn't (or at least didn't a few months ago, when I was trying it) support Google Toolbar (strange, no?), which is a must-have for me.

I use Safari (I have a Mac) but my backup browser is FireFox, which I like a lot.

Firefox. I may switch to Google Chrome, but Firefox imo is the best out there.

It looks like firefox is the preferred browser. Is it hard to put on the computer? (I'm not very tech savvy and my husband is even worse at it!)

Here's the website...download Firefox.

Very easy and good directions.

They also have Thunderbird, which is an email client, instead of Windows mail. I use that. Again, easy to install and I like it much better than Windows mail.

I asked this question on a few different forums.

In actuality, it seems Google Chrome is the most preferred, with Firefox as a very, very close second.

Safari ,On my Mac ; on my PC, I heart Firefox. Nothing but love for firefox.

Servant, I used to have dial up not that long ago. (A little over year ago now)
IE was woefully slow on a dial up connection and switching Firefox improved the performance phenomenally. It did take a long time to download, but it was definitely worth it.

Belle, I noticed a difference immediately...the download time was less than two hours, which is actually quite fast with our dial-up!

I use Firefox and my husband uses Google Chrome. He says its better, and I was tempted to switch, but I do like Firefox, and with us using two different browsers on the same computer, we can stay signed into our separate accounts (like Facebook, Google, etc...) without constantly signing in and out like we were when dh also used Firefox.

That's funny, Lindsay--that's exactly why my husband tried out Google Chrome a while back. Then we found out that on Firefox, we can set up two different "profiles" that allow us to stay signed in to our own accounts, keep our saved preferences, etc. in our own separate Firefox windows. I'm not sure if Google Chrome has something similar, but I'll bet it does.

I use Firefox too, mostly because my husband is a tech guy and that is what he thinks is best. I do mostly use my own laptop and not a shared computer but he set me up with it. I was never an IE person, used Netscape for years before switching over to Firefox.
