Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It looks like you're off to a great start! My Advent crafts are soooo simple. We sit down on the first Sunday of Advent and make lots of paper strips about 1 x 8 in. and write various prayer intentions on them. We pray 2-3 times a day for these intentions and add them to a paper chain. This makes a beautiful decoration for Jesus that we drape around the room on Chrismas Eve.

You can find a few ideas in the Fridge Art section at domestic-church.com

Here's a great Advent Christmas thread from last year with lots of links. I especially love St. Nicholas.org.

Here is something new we have planned for this year--Advent Cubes. The cubes are a guide to Jesse tree symbols, O Antiphons, the Christmas creche, treats, prayer and sacrifice, saints of the season, and other ways to celebrate.
