While Netflix isn't perfect and I wouldn't let my children on their website unsupervised, it is my favorite movie tool because of it's vast selection. I've culled lists and resources and cross-checked them with Netflix to see what they offer. It certainly is a money saver! But I hate to take business away from Ignatius Press and other great Catholic companies selling these movies, so I encourage you to purchase them through their websites if you find them so well loved.
Here is a list of true stories and documentaries available on Netflix. (I didn't include excellent movies with Catholic THEMES-implicit or explicit- because there are so many and tastes and discretions may vary in that regard)
A Hand of Peace: Pope Paul XII and the Holocaust
A Man for All Seasons (St. Thomas More)
Affectionately Yours, Screwtape: The Devil and C.S. Lewis

Wow, my dh is going to go crazy with our queue. He always culls the Ignatius catalogue for suggestions. My entire family totally loved St. Rita, and Brother Son was a conversion film for a gal in our parish. So many good movies, so little time......
