Oh, those are very cute! What a great idea...and it got me thinking...what a simple way to make any tea time themed. These are some ideas I came up with...
Feast day tea times
(OL of Refuge, St. Wenceslaus, St. Elizabeth Seton)
The Twelve Days of Christmas
And this week's, O Antiphons
Just a few ideas - the possibilities are endless!

Mary- you are tremendous! I love your ideas- I didn't even think past the kid's pictures.
Hmm... so that does justify buying a large circle punch, right? 
With a coupon, of course

That's exactly what I was thinking too until - I was able to get 18 prints from Walmart for $o.58. They were the perfect size (well could have stood some trimming). 9 copies of the picture on a page for just $o.29. It had to be done in the store though. There was no option for that at the Walmart website. I'm sure I could use the hole for something else though, like the 12 days of Christmas symbols!

OK- so large circle punches are expensive. Ack! Even with a coupon I did not want to pay $10 for one. I have to look around on line to see if I can find a cheaper source than the craft store.

Pouting here that my in-laws are all coffee drinkers! But, let's say I wanted to do this for feast day teas or just for myself... what size large circle punch are you using and how could I attach one of these to a tea bag that doesn't have a string? We have been enjoying the Celestial Seasonings holiday teas, but they are just bags with no strings. Should I tie a string onto a corner?

Nope. Their coffee pot runs non-stop. They only use the baggies when there is no other option.

That is so cute! I wonder if it could be adapted to fit a mug. Maybe with a velcro strap that fits through the mug handle? Now the wheels are turning.

why couldn't they sleeve be adapted by making the part by the velcro very thin? I think it might keep my coffee warm a little longer. Am I the only one that has to reheat my coffee twice because I keep getting sidetracked in the morning? (or maybe it's just child induced ADD?)

Yes, I do think the purchase is justified . As you said they still can be spendy - options: 1)wait for a 50% coupon for a couple more dollars savings, 2)if you have to spend that amount get a Fiskars circle cutter instead - cost about $20 but it is adjustable so you can make a larger variety of circles (1-8 inches) for lots of different crafting needs, 3)I just cut mine out by hand because the circle punch I have is bigger than I wanted for the samples. Don't know of any particular sources that are cheaper - you can find some on-line but then when you pay shipping it costs more than local.

As I mentioned I didn't use the hole punch - mine is 2 inches diameter, but the ones I cut by hand are 1 1/2 inch diameter, so a little smaller.
We tend to drink mostly stringless teas, too - big Celestial Seasonings fans . This is what I did - folded over the teabag corner twice, poked a hole through and looped a thin string through.
Another option I thought of would be to staple it if you have one of those tiny staplers.

I got them from DLTK. I used the color version and pasted them into a word document and reduced them to the size I wanted. There are lots of pictural versions of the 12 Days on the web if anyone likes a different style, etc.
