Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just started doing my school planning in Outlook and wanted to know if anyone else did and had any tips for me.

I have 2 calendars in outlook that I combine to see a complete picture of our day. One is a school calendar of my subject planning and the other is our family outside activities calendar. Outlook can overlap the 2 calendars like a transparency with one ontop of the other. I'm really happy with that feature.

I've seen some people use google calendars, but since DH uses outlook at work and we send calendar invitations back and forth, I'd rather stick with being able to sync up Outlook with my school planner.

Do any of the digital planners (Homeschool Tracker, Google Calendars) sync up with Outlook the way Outlook can have multiple calendars?

I also got a new iphone and I like the planner apps, but need to be able to sync mine to Outlook.
I really like that my iphone will sync with Outlook, but it doesn't retain the same color coding, tagging, categories, etc that I've assigned in Outlook -- it's just text when it appears on my iphone. When my 2 seperate calendars are transferred to my iphone, each calendar is a different color, but the color codes for each child I assigned in Outlook have disappeared. GREAT, though, that I can keep track!

What has been your experience with tracking your school planners through Outlook???
