Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

In my search for Redwall materials, I came across these guides at Rainbow Resources.

Any opinions on them?

Thanks!

Molly,
I'm trying to catch up from 3 weeks of only intermitent on-line time and just saw this post. We have used several of the Progency Press study guides (The Sign of the Beaver, Where the Red Fren Grows, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Old Man and the Sea, Huckleberry Finn).

I've found them to be pretty good. They are Protestant, but I have not found them to anti-Catholic. The questions sections include some bible study. These are most often, "Read bible verse______, what does this verse say about ___________" - it is something related to the message or text of the reading.

You can see some sample pages at their website. I looked through a few and they do give you the basic flavor of the guides.

They offer such a large variety of titles which is nice as these are common classics. A similar type study with a Catholic worldview are the Hillside Novel Inquires. They have been further discussed here.
