Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies, what do you do when you see things online that are bashing (gently or no) the Catholic church, the Vatican, the Pope? I'm thinking mostly blogs or on message boards or email groups?

It breaks my heart to see the lies spread, especially by big name Christian homeschoolers. And so much of it IS just slightly twisted truth, making sound great to others but it's really Catholic bashing, because it's not Truth!

I think many of you know what I mean.

Do you comment when you can? Do you just say a prayer? I could spend ALL DAY challanging fallacies but will that get us anywhere? Then there's the need to always be charitable!

When my heart breaks I feel I must do something, but I don't know what, or whether it would do any good. Most of these people have SO many lies about the Catholic church deeply rooted into their brains, I'm not going to change their mind by commenting on one post on their blog! I feel like I'm trying to shovel a blizzard one snowflake at a time!

Well I'm going to go love my little girls (and get one out of the naughty corner, LOL!) which is all I feel I can do right now! But I'd love to hear everyone elses thoughts on this. What do YOU do, and what *should* we be doing?
