Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The liturgy of hours book:

Are there regular prayers a bit like Prayers for the People?

I'm hoping to find something that will combine the Offices, Office of Reading, the Psalms in a Month and regular prayers that will help me with the depth and breadth of my intercessory prayers.

Does this book have the intercessory prayer? I know it has everything else.

Pam, I'm not sure I understood your question. In the Liturgy of the hours, there are "intercessions" for each day which are similar to the intercessions prayed during Mass (Lord hear our prayer type). Is this what you mean? or do you wanty to know if there is a prayer section at the end of the book the way the missal for Mass has?
I know there is an additional poetry section in the breviary.

I don't care where the prayers are, just as long as there is something that will jog me to pray for things I might otherwise not think or, or might forget.
