At church I received a booklet with the Pope's intentions for the month of Jan:

Christian Unity

and, for the mission front, the people in Africa.

This has been great- we now pray for the Pope and his specific intentions each morning.

My kids and I reference the Apostleship of Prayer website where we print out in PDF format reflections of the Pope's monthly prayer intentions.

We love using these reflections to make the Holy Father's intentions "more real" for us.
