Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone tell me if BB is anti-catholic, or what your experiences have been?

I've had a very quick look at an Australian site for BB, but I'm unsure. Is there such a thing as a Catholic BB? Has anyone started one?

Thanks,

I thought it was Baptist?

But the wikipedia says interdenominational christian.

Certainly the only references in the wiki about Australia were Baptist/Presbyterian/CofE.

My daughters attended Girls Brigade for some time. The one they belonged to was based at a Methodist Church. There was nothing anti-Catholic at all there - for example, they got Church attendance points regardless of what Church they attended. I think it would depend very much on the individual group, though.

There is no Catholic equivalent, in the UK at least.
