From National Geographic, Goerge vs George is a GREAT, longer than a picture book, read-aloud that explains the American Revolution from "both sides". We really liked this one as it explains that George III wasn't quite the tyrant he's sometimes portrayed and that George W may legitimately be considered a traitor from the other side.

The pictures are fun and the information very detailed. I especially liked the "afterword" where you learn what happened to George III (and that his "insanity" was caused by a disease now known as porphyria)

We love this book, too, Mary!

We bought it in Boston at Fanuiel (SP?)Hall on our cross-country trip. I just could not leave it there in the stall.
