I don't have the code and don't have an opinion one way or the other, but typepad's code is so hard to read sometimes. I feel like maybe I need to get bifocals it's so hard to read.

I don't have the verification set. I know sometimes writing comments get interrupted before I can verify and I don't end up posting them. But if I have the time, I don't really mind it. Though I think Bloggers are harder than Typepad. My Dad has a lot of trouble with Typepad's verification.

Meredith, I don't have mine set to verification, and yet, if I leave more than 2 comments at my bog (if I'm answering comments, for instance), the code prompt comes up.

Oh, and my eyes are terrible with those things. I am forever trying a second (or third) attempt!

I have my kids read the code aloud to me. It's demoralizing for me to even try. Couple the difficult reading with my poor typing and it's a wonder I ever manage to post a comment.

I don't like those codes.    

I don't have verification set up on my blog and in a year's time, I have only had one spammy automated comment left for me. I don't think that is so bad.

I don't usually comment if I have to type that code in because, like Dawn, I just can never get it right and end up giving up .
