Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Michele,
That is just beautiful. I never would have thought of it as a door curtain, but is perfect! Now I want one

Michele,

It is beautiful! I got the same one, but it's a tablecloth. I hate putting food on it. Maybe I should do the same.

God bless,

WOW! Do you know if this company delivers to Canada? This would be a lovely item to use as a gift to our daughters for thier hopechests too, keeping them "under our lady's mantle".

Oh, and imagine the possibilities to use this for marian feast days too, at all those homeschooling celebrations!

I need to order a whole bunch of these come to think of it!

Thanks so much for sharing Michelle!

That is beautiful! I can easily see it hung "banner style" with a blue background behind it, for feast days....

VERY COOL!

Michele,

This is definitely a beautiful door! What a great idea -- now, did you get up when you had that idea or did you wait till morning? Just wondering ...

Michele, that is just lovely! I have a side door with a huge window. I've been wondering what to put on it ... perhaps I have an answer.

Thanks Michelle for this post!
I just ordered this curtain for my daughter Leah's room. She loves Our Lady of Guadalupe!

That looks so lovely Michele! We have the same curtain in our daughters' bedroom window, and I love how you can see it from the street. Like Bridget said, sure to keep the bad guys out!

I waited as it was quite late. But also I knew it would be too long and I would need to alter it by cutting some off the top and remaking the curtain rod pocket. So I did that the next day while the children were at the March for Life.

As I was hanging it I thought it no conincidence that I was doing so on the anniversary of Roe V. Wade. and that Our Lady is patroness of the unborn under that image in particular.
