Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The little crates that clementines come in seem to useful to throw away. I'm using a couple on my laundry room shelves to hold smaller bottles and essential oils. Any other useful ideas for these little crates?

I have thought the same thing!

We've used a few in the school room amongst other places but no great crafty ideas. One holds my 2yo's socks.

I use them in my kitchen cupboards. I have one for boxes of tea, one for medicine bottles, one for small baking items, such as food coloring, bottles of vanilla, baking spices, etc. Another use that I don't have one for yet is for all those packets such as taco mix, soup mix, etc.

They fit perfectly! You could even stack them if you had limited space.

I have a little rubbermaid container for my spice mixes (those little packets).

LOL

I think Alice mentioned using them as a manger for (a child's doll) Baby Jesus. I actually intended to use our clementine box for that, but the material I had planned to use to line it was swiped by my husband when I wasn't paying attention. He used the material as a runner on the bookshelf top where he placed some seasonal tchotchkes when we were decorating for Christmas. He had no idea I had just purchased the material remnant specifically for the cute manger idea. Not wanting to insult his clever decorating, I let it be.

I used the empty clementine box anyway for a short stack of Christmas books. It was rustic looking, but easily fixed with thick ribbon tied around to cover the writing on the box.

They are good for storing a small group of books facing forward on a bookshelf to show off most of the first book's front cover. Then the books can be easily flipped through looking at the colorful covers instead of boring spines.

I have since collected a few more and you have given me some good ideas to put them to use. Keep them coming.. Thanks!

Blessings,
