Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Many, many "thank yous" to everyone for being so kind and making our Christmas season shine bright. We’ve received so many beautiful ornaments and our tree is gorgeous. There was no need for us to purchase any additional ornaments.

I’m wondering how they were all selected so perfectly. Each ornament is one that I would have chosen myself .

Please take a peek ...it's my pleasure to share these treasures with you.

Merry Christmas from our home to yours .

Lots of love,

What a fun and fabulous tree! It is so thrilling to know that we were a part of your Christmas this year, and you will always think of us and our friendship each year.

This tree is an inspiration and adds to my Christmas spirit tremendously!!!

Run, ladies, right now, to see Donna's tree. .

I was literally in tears as I scrolled down, seeing ornament after ornament, knowing that Donna had taken the time to photograph each and every one individually. Donna, such a loving response! I'm in awe of you.

Have a blessed, happy and holy Christmas!

Donna, thank you for such a beautiful presentation of your ornaments and tree. Like the others have said, it was a blessing to us to be a part of it. And my 16 yo ds was tickled to see his beaded snowflake posted in cyberspace! Christmas blessings to all of you!

Donna,

I am just now seeing this post. Thank you for sharing your tree and all your ornaments with us. I showed the kids all your ornaments, enjoyed seeing the ornaments on the internet.

God Bless you and your family

Beautiful ornaments. This one is so like one that my grandmother had and I haven't seen another like it since then. Does anyone have the pattern? I would love to make one for my mother and aunts.

Ooh, I wondered about that lovely bead ornament! Did your son make it from a kit?

Hi Dawn,
No, it wasn't a kit. We have made similar snowflakes from kits that give you a spool of wire to use. It is a bit tricky to shape the wire into the various snowflake forms. So this year we tried wire snowflake forms from http://www.fusionbeads.com/shop/product/5602/. (they come in various sizes) This way I was also able to use nicer quality Czech glass beads (the same kind as I use in some of my rosaries). The children made some for me in lovely pastel blues so they are not so 'Christmasy' - I plan to hang them in the windows throughout the winter. Some people also make them with Swarovski crystals which gets rather pricey but are beautiful suncatchers. Swarovskis make lots of beautiful little rainbows!
