Since we have so many Netflix fans here, can you chime in what your favorite rentals have been? Sometimes I find that their search engine is not that great and I know we are missing some hidden gems:)

Phantom of the Opera (the new version)
Othello
Count of Monte Cristo
Pride and Predjudice (new version)
Romeo+Juliet (with Leo)
The Crossing
These are our favorite rentals off the top of my head. We ended up buying Phantom because we love it so much.

We enjoy old tv shows around here. The kids have been watching Gilligan lately. We also have gone through The Monkees, Dick Van Dyke, and Home Improvement.
My dh, ds 15 and I are hooked on the show 24. It can be pretty violent at times, but the story is gripping. We usually watch a hole disc (4- hr long shows) in one sitting! I am not a tv person, really, at all. We don't get any tv in the house, but this show is an exception.

Oh, and I had some friends recommend using various Catholic and homeschooling catalogs as a reference and looking up the movies they sell on Netflix.

We have liked:
Bewitched (season 1 discs 1 and 2)
I dream of Gennie (season 1 disc 1)
We are enjoying I, Claudius - very good but parental guidance needed
Harvey Girls
That is all I can remember right now. I looking forward to peoples response to make my queue even longer

My dh is a huge fan of Silent Bob movies, but they are highly unorthodox to say the least.
The old versions of Cheper By the Dozen
The old version of Yours, Mine & Ours (Who Gets the Drumstick by Beardsley is well wroth a read too! What faith this woman must have had and God surely did look out for her!)
The Sister Wendy series are great, imho.
Five Children and It was surprisingly good.
The first Wonders of God's Creation was good, haven't seen the others yet.
Madeline (1998 version) was wonderful!
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Entertaining Angels might have been good, but silly me had no idea what it was about and after 15 mintues didn't want my kids to know! Not what I thought it would be. BEWARE!
20,000 leagues Under the Sea (1954) was good.
Davy Crockett 50th anniversary double feature was loved by all.
Last Holiday with Queen Latifah was good (I like her)
And Bridget is getting the dickens out of the keyboard so I have to stop there!

Just about anything you can think of seems to be on Netflix! We've enjoyed:
Star Trek Enterprise series Dh's favorite and I think I actually like it the best of all Star Treks
Muppet Show too funny seeing old actors and actresses on the Muppets
Any Jane Austen, there are so many versions, it's a ton of fun to get several in a row to compare.
Twelfth Night excellent, it's now on my Christmas list, I cannot wait to see it again
Stomp is coming next (because words could not explain it for Dd)
The Gods Must Be Crazy has an excellent special feature on the Bushmen
Akeelah and the Bee sent us off on a Spelling Rabbit Trail for a few days
The Lost World and Dinotopia were popular with Marianna and were two that Hal and I could sit through and enjoy. Dinotopia was pretty gripping actually.
Beauty and the Beast French (special features were great, loved seeing how Disney's look for the castle was similar)
First Descent Jaw dropping
Peter Pan first guy to play Peter Pan, special effects and features were great
The Song of Bernadette of course!
Road Home Chinese, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous
Just an odd selection from our past rentals!
