I design websites so you got me brainstorming here.

A description of the group would be helpful.

Obviously contact info for those new to the area.      I would make sure that it isn't too personal, maybe a yahoo address that is checked fairly regularly or a phone number.

If you have a password protected area you could include a contact list for everyone.

A calendar for events would be good, maybe even one that is interactive so users can add upcoming events. If that isn't feasable maybe a list of upcoming events, updated every few weeks.

Maybe some links to local attractions or a list of good field trip ideas.

You could have a blog and add different people as authors so they could post stories, events, ideas, projects, etc.   

I will try to think of some more but I am sure you will get some other great ideas from the other ladies.

OH, I got another one! A list of teen sitters with availability!!    I thought of that because my girls have a sitting service.
