Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

but it might help y'all too.

We get so many requests for prayers - particularly on this list and I would honestly try to pray for all of them (often sending up a prayer immediately after reading a post) but I'd like to remember to pray more than once, y'know?

So, I now have a little notebook right next to the computer (as I get most requests thru emails or boards like this) and I can record each one. Somehow it seems better now that I'm remembering each one and not doing the collective "and all those for whom I've promised to pray".

This makes complete sense! My husband actually just came home with a little journal created specifically for this purpose (he's in youth ministry, so he gets lots of requests!). But, I was thinking...many parishes even do this. Mine has a "parish book of intentions" and they mention it during the intentions at mass.

Oops, I guess I should bring my planner to the computer. Sometimes I open a word page, copy and paste all the requests and print them out later in the day.
