Okay, so I've had back pain for about 10 years now that is slowly creeping up my back as well. I went to a Chiropractor last week for an evaluation. He said he could help me and we started treatments.

Tell me, please, is it supposed to hurt worse after adjustments? Part of me says yes as the muscles, vertabrae and such are moving in ways that haven't in a while. But I definitely did not sign up for MORE pain.

Any advice?

Yes! Ten years ago, I had such bad back pain I could barely walk. The doctor said surgery. I went to the chiropractor. After the first two treatments I was in tears. It was so much worse and I thought for sure it wasn't going to work. It took several months of twice and then once a week, but I completely recovered. Hang in there.

Thanks Elizabeth. I just wanted to make sure this was okay. I'm a little concerned as we are hopefully going to China in September to bring our daughter home (please, Lord!) and I obviously need to be able to move and carry her.

Do you think it will be okay by then?

Do you still see a Chiropractor for maintenance?
