I don't have tons of time to do my research and was wondering if you all have any information on Olive Garden restaurant. It was brought to my attention by a member of my homeschool group that they used to support abortion/gay rights.    Anyone know if this is still so?

We were planning on using the restaurant to host a homeschool meeting this month.

I found a few minutes to google and the only reference to Olive Garden supporting abortion was a reference on a very old website to be sure and write letters thanking them for withdrawing their support of pro-abortion
causes...

I did find on their site this link.

If anyone knows anything else I'd appreciate it!

I couldn't find anything else about Olive Garden supporting abortion, but I did find a couple of encouraging things (btw, Red Lobster is owned by the same corporation)

1. The parent company holds an essay contest each year. This year's winner described: The most influential person in Melissa Brown’s life is her younger brother Josh. Her heartfelt tribute to Josh, who has Down syndrome, was selected by judges as the grand prize winner in the 10th-annual Olive Garden Pasta Tales national essay writing contest. link to announcement of winner

2. There seems to be a boycott against big companies that donate to the Republican party - one of the reason's being their stance against "abortion rights" this list includes Olive Garden (as well as Walmart, Wendys, Outback Steak House, Dominos Pizza, Red Lobster, Eckerd, CVS and Walgreens, Curves for women health clubs, GE and Exxon/Mobil).

3. Here is a partial list of organizations that Olive Garden's parent company donated too. I don't know about all of them but I was encouraged to see the Boy Scouts on the list.
