I know you'll all forgive me for having fallen behind in archiving the blog-related threads here and also for some delay in updating the webring and my blogroll. I've had just one or two other things on my plate lately...

If anyone wants to volunteer to help keep the webring up to date, jump right in. There's not much to do, just check the queue occasionally and send code to people who need it.

About Typepad: just wanted to make sure you Typepad users knew about the nifty new Technorati tags feature. When you're writing a post, click in the bottom right corner where it says Customize the display of this page. Under Post Screen Configuration, click on Custom and then click on Technorati Tags.

That will open a box for you to enter your tags. MUCH easier than doing them manually.

There's also now a widget that will make all links open in a new window--no more entering the target="new" in the HTML.

Nifty.

BTW, I've archived many of our blog topics in the Fireside Chat archives--search for "Blog Q&A" (no spaces in the Q&A).

Lissa, that's so good to know! Editing the HTML can be a real pain especially if you have a lot of links (I tend to link a lot ).
