Oh, my 5 year old just got this for her birthday! We love it. It has all the tradional kid songs but with sort of a folksy, upbeat, non-twaddly style. Nancy Cassidy's voice is easy to sing with. We have been having fun be-bopping around the living room on these 'to hot to be out' afternoons.

Veggie tales "Silly Songs with Larry." I cannot pick up my hairbrush in the morning without the strains of "Oh, where is my hairbrush?" running through my head!

Mine is "The Pirates that don't do anything" and the Jonah song...LOL... The kids seem to mind it when I am singing it in the van with the windows down...especially at traffic lights...wonder why??

Kudos to the Veggies from here, too!
We also like:
Steven Curtis Chapman
Newsboys
Christian Soundtrack from Narnia
Those three above really get us going! Great music to clean the house, too, as well!

Here Come the ABCs
No!
Bed,Bed, Bed (book with CD)
Oh, I just want to add that No! is one of my favorite CDs of all time. It works well for the kids, but it is so funny for adults, from the song about kids building a giant cyborg, to the admonition song about crossing the street (which my kids gleefully sing to j-walkers in NY City ). The Edison Museum song is a gem, and a must for anyone familiar with New Jersey--a humorous blending of fact and music.
Well, on second thought,...you might want to check out samples first, as I do have a quirky sense of humor.

Looks like some great suggestions.
We like to sing to Hide 'em in Your Heart volumes 1 and 2 by Steve Green. A classic Sesame Street Album is always fun too.

We enjoy Laurie Berkner and Dan Zanes. They are very cute, silly songs.
