Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We've had posts on girls' clothing, what about clothes for boys? Do any companies avoid the skull/dragon themes I see in ads? We've bought things from Lands' End but the knits develop holes faster than I'd like (prior to little brother ever wearing them).

Where do you get hand-me-down strength boys' clothes?

I like the Children's place.
I'm planning to to get some of these with a 20% off coupon I got in the mail.
I like many of their classic styles and the clothes I have bought from them has last through hand-me down from one son to the next (our 5 youngest are boys! )

We've had good luck with Sears. They have a program called KidVantage (or something like that), if the clothes wear out before the child grows out of them, they replace it for free. Just save your receipts though!!

I still have Healthtex clothes that are 13 years old and have been through 5 children. Anytime I find Healthtex at yard sales I buy them. Kohls sells them and they often have 20%-30% off sales.

I buy LE climber pants and they have held up well. for shirts, i've bought hanna andersson, carters and land's end. i read once that clothes sold in department stores are considered 'disposable' meaning that they are only designed to last one season, certainly not for multiple children.

Kelly, I buy most of my boys' clothing through L.L. Bean and have found them to be sturdy, well-made and long-lasting. My oldest is 11 and my 4 yo is able to wear his hand-me-downs.

We also got a lot of hand-me-downs from NY cousins and most of their stuff was from Bean and Lands End. They are all teens now and my boys wear all their stuff.
