Mary Ellen looks great
I am 38 wks and getting neurotic about having my house in order before the 13th! My lil Jacinta is scheduled to arrive via c- section in two weeks.
My oldest turned 21 yrs today
I'm desperately trying to make my pegs system work by tomorrow. As I "make" the dc do many tasks that are not usually theirs and I keep purging through boxes drawers and waiting for dh to finish our bedroom. He is upstairs fitting in our new sink and vanity, ready to start tiling tomorrow, of course there still is the mudding, taping, sanding, painting, and carpeting to be done
Seeing how graceful Mary Ellen can be with twins..I'll just keep moving slow and steady
...and try to stop whining
Offering prayers during these last weeks for you, Mary Ellen.

Tammy,
My father-in-law was in my bathroom tiling one night in late December five years ago. I soooo desperately wanted him OUT OF THERE. I couldn't quite place the feeling but I was desperate for privacy and a bath. He left and ten minutes later my water broke! I know that nesting feeling. I had to laugh at this though:

When you're successful you can write Pegs in a Day. It's bound to be as big a bestseller as the potty training book.

Well, I'm still feeling rather large and cumbersome, but at least I'm twenty five pounds lighter than I was two weeks ago! Those last few weeks of pregnancy made me feel like a sheet of looseleaf under a paperweight!
Elizabeth and Mary Ellen, you both look beautiful, and, Tammy, I love your new little girl's name! What a blessing it will be to welcome her into the world.

I'm one of the people who bugged her to post a belly picture.
I'm so glad you did Mary Ellen! You are beautiful! Monica and I sat here just admiring and imagining those babies and sighing with envy.

Mary Ellen,
What a lovely picture. Can you go full term with twins?
Funny. but last night as I was walking around feeling a little heavy I thought of you, thinking well I could be Mary Ellen with twins, I wonder how much heavier that feels? Now I know Well I know that you look fantastic.

I'm so touched. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. It makes me feel so good.
I feel pretty well, cumbersome and uncomfortable but nothing that isn't perfectly normal. I go to the doctor again Thursday but so far the twins are tucked up tight and not making any moves to leave early. Every week they are inside makes a trip to the NICU more unlikely so I am offering up the discomfort for two sets of healthy lungs.
On a fun note my dearest friends threw me a surprise baby shower yesterday. They even managed to keep my mom up here when I thought she was 1000 miles away in Georgia. Their generosity was amazing and I am now the proud owner of two beautiful car seats, an amazing twin stroller, lots of adorable baby clothes and diapers, diapers, diapers. It was such fun and such a surprise.
You are all so kind - I will continue to keep you all updated on our progress.

Mary Ellen,
You're looking great! I remember that feeling of being large. I was scurry about looking for maternity shorts and short sleeve shirts b/c everything was get smaller and smaller on me. The maternity shorts were gone for the season so I had to buy XXXL shorts. I did manage to find 2 shirts. I never threw those clothes in the dryer. I couldn't risk the clothes shrinking.
I made it to 33 weeks with my girls. Their total combined weight was 11 lbs. + They were only in the NICU for three weeks before they came home without monitors. \0/
Prayers of peace,
Mare - who saved her XXXL short and XXL shirt
