Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well, I'm having a Mary Kay mother-daughter skin care class on Thursday evening...

Does anyone have any products to recommend?

I'm taking inspiration from this thread from Dawn and asking for any recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

I usually don't spend much on skincare and beauty items, but I make an exception for a few Mary Kay products. I really like her Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer and use it daily. I use a bit of Extra-Emollient Night Cream around my eyes every night before bed. And I like Mary Kay foundation (which I hardly ever use, but always have around) and blush, called MK Signature Cheek Color (which I use every day).

My Mary Kay indulgence is the You're A Star - Shimmery Powder in a Puff. It's a girly pick powder puff with the powder all in the puff. That way if a little one gets to it - no mess. It has a little shimmer and smells lovely. It would also make a nice gift for a young lady. I have bought it for my younger teenage nieces.

Sounds like a fun time! Enjoy your class.

I like their SPF 25 Day Solution. My sis is a peddler of Mary Kay, and for my BDay this year, she gave me a bottle. Its the best facial sunblock I've ever used, and genuinely feels like a moisturizer instead of a greasy sunblock.

Thanks, ladies, for your recommendations.

It'll be fun to look at all the girl stuff!
