I understand that Girl Guides supports Planned Parenthood as well as promotes immoral practices. Have any of you searched this out and if so, can you share what you have found?

Also, if there are any Canadian moms here, have you likewise done research on Girl Guides here in Canada? And do they support such things as well?

If anyone can share links, that would be fantastic!

I don't want to just call them up and ask them until I have done some research; I don't trust them to tell the truth.

Ah- I thought you were looking for specifically Canadian resources. But I can tell you that I researched Girl Scouts here in the US several years ago, and I was pretty upset by what I found.

At the youngest level, I looked through the handbook and was surprised about how new age it was. There were references to "the goddess within", girl power, etc.

At the oldest level, some troops were offering a an HIV badge, which could be earned by educating the public about STDs. One way to help earn the badge was to set up a display and distribute birth control items at a public event.

All that was before I got to the information about the higher levels supporting Planned Parenthood, marching in the LGBT parades, etc.

Before I returned to the Catholic Faith, I was a Girl Scout leader. I was ALWAYS avidly pro-life. So I was highly confused why I kept receiving things from Planned Parenthood. Eventually when the internet really started to explode, I did some digging too. I was truly disgusted.
I distanced myself as far away from GS and PP as soon as possible. I refuse to buy their cookies. I feel bad. Because most of the parents are not aware of this connection. But I am. And if asked I will tell them why.
