I love it, Lissa! I wandered around Club Mom for a few days....I'm completely biased, but I think your blog is hands down the best! I know it will draw much good. You are uplifting, show your love of life and your vocation and your children but with great humor and wonderful insights. But all in such a positive manner. And with clean language.

Oooh boy, I'm guessing you were reading the little zygote blog. And no caps or anything...what's that about; she sounds like a teenager on myspace.com. Lissa is a breath fresh air over there!

Nope, didn't even read that one...it was another one, Playgroup dropout I think? It's the general attitude (and she may not embrace it, but writes tongue in cheek) that your life is over now that you have children. Loss of identity, loss of self, loss of personal time...me, me, me.
Edited to add: And Purple...another one.

Lilting House is fantastic, Lissa. Thank you for the invitation. What you help me to remember is to have joy in/with my children. And for that (hopefully without sounding too much like a drama queen) I am eternally grateful.

Lissa,
I always love to read your blogs. So inspiring. You have such a wonderful way of opening your door to let us peek in on your family. I love the different blogs, it makes me feel like I have a wonderful neighborhood of good catholic homeschooling moms who I can always knock on a door and find love, wisdom and joy.(and yes laughter and even sharing in the sorrows) Thanks to all you bloggers who help me feel I am not so lonely.
P.S. Lissa thanks for recommending "Meet the Austins". I love this book. I can't wait to read it aloud to the kids, I know they will get such a kick out of it. Have you read others in the series? Thanks again.

Great blog, Lissa! Congratulations on your newest little one. Somehow I missed that you were pregnant all these months.
Peace,
