Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Recently my dd received the card game Rat-a-tat-Cat as a gift.
We are enjoying it... it strains my old brain to remember what cards I have- let alone what cards others might have.

We seem to be a card game family... old maid, pinochle, etc. Another favorite here is the Scrambled States of America Card Game.

I was wondering if anyone has played Sleeping Queens or There's a Moose in the House?

I am looking for a fun card game for a nephew turning 9 soon... not sure if he likes cats/rats, but the moose would work if it's fun....

We love card games. We bought Sleeping Queens for my daughter when she was 5 or 6. She's 12 now and it still gets used quite regularly with all the younger kids now.

Our favorite family card game though is Ruckus.

Monopoly Deal is fun too.

The Professor Noggin games cover lots of different theme areas, so you might be able to find something that appeals to your nephew. They're great for multi-age player groups.

We did like There's a Moose in the House, too.

Check to see if he has UNO. My daughter and her friends (all 16) still play it, particularly at camp.

Uno is a favorite here that works for our wide age range.

My younger set likes Ziggity.
