Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What do you think of this?

I think I'd be happy with it but... Its not catholic education, is it? Is it appropriate for the catholic child to work in an atrium of an episcopal church? Does CGS have value in a setting outside the church? if an episcopalian were trained would she be as valid a person to present this work?

I am assuming the training for the catechists is the same, the work the same...both catholic and episcopalian atriums are listed on the same site.

I just do not know.

I dont see anything strictly catholic that is better than CGS. No catholic atrium exists as near where we will be. In fact, the episcopalian atrium will be a solid 30 mins.

i feel like I can not spare any more energy to do this myself at home tho I love Moira's albums... Maybe the atrium isnt meant to be the way for my children.

I wanted to add:

the parish we are most likely to attend (and probably many of the churches in the diocese) use Blessed Are We, which as you may remember has a DANGER rating from catholic culture. Its done by a secular company, Scott Foresman owns Silver Burdett Ginn.

I am a pretty liberal catholic. But I am not impressed with the book's incomplete and overly simplified definitions of creed, church and baptism.
