I love this post from A Wise Woman Builds Her Home.

So true... and so good to keep in mind. I would add to her closing statement that unexpected guests do show up, even moms get sick at Christmas, and plans do change. But love is still the point!

Adding to that my confession: in the past week I have not wrapped, baked or decorated anything... but I have spent about ten hours watching I Dream of Jeannie reruns with my sick kids.

Thank you for sharing that beautiful reminder Melinda! Praying for all to have a "1 Corin 13 Christmas"! A favorite quote from St. Teresa of Jesus, "Love begets love" beautifully expresses what this blessed season is all about! May the love of Christ be begotten in all our hearts, families and homes during these final days of Advent and all throughout Christmas!

Prayers and hugs for all who are coping with sickness or struggles of any kind during this blessed time of year!
