Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

~~~~ waving to all friends wherever you are and on whatever device you are reading! Hope you'll stop by this week to say hey!
I'm rushing out the door - like I know many Americans celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow - so I'll come back to this post but wanted to start with...
How has your week been? And what are you grateful for?
Back in a bit!
Love,
I am grateful to be right in my own little house this Thanksgiving- no traveling this year. Whew! I am glad.
I am also grateful that I will not be weighing out grams of turkey on a scale and trying to figure out how I can make this foodie holiday bearable for a sick child on a restricted diet. I am SO grateful those dark days are behind us.
I am grateful that all four of us will be under one roof - ours!
I am also grateful that Dancing Daughter is healthy and (relatively) uninjured, because regionals are almost here.
Finally, I am grateful for the blessings God has granted to me this year...so many wonderful things have happened. I am joyfully content. Believe in miracles!
My thoughts of gratitude have been at an all-time high lately. Most of them circle around family and friends and care for my health.
I'm so grateful to have my family and other support system to help me through this rough patch with my health.
I'm grateful to live during this age that heart problems can be fixed easily with great results.
I'm grateful to have found wonderful doctors to walk me through all this.
I'm grateful my sister is hosting and that I'll be able to see most of my family this week.
I'm grateful for the gift of the Catholic Faith.
And I'm thankful for my new blog at Catholic Culture!
I'm also adding that our pastor suggested the practice of saying 3 things that we are grateful for at the end of the day. This has been a good practice for us!
Yes, link, Jenn!!!
I am grateful for my fellow mountain climber, my husband of nearly 22 years. I am eternally grateful for a most generous God who saw something in my mule like ways and blessed me with an incredible family that I, in no way, deserve.
I am grateful for sons in college who come home...who WILL be home soon....and for three at home who are so excited to see them!
I am grateful for the opportunity to homeschool.
I’m so, so grateful for the medical community who work so hard to take good care of my special bunch.
I’m most grateful for the Sacraments and Our Lady. I would be a goner without those Two Things.
This year I am most grateful for having just enough. God will provide and this lesson was learned this year and I'm most grateful for His mercy!
I'm grateful to be in late pregnancy in Advent. I was having paralysing inertia and not seeing it for the wonderful opportunity it is, then I reflected and realised what a privilege it was to be 'walking' with Our Blessed Mother.
I'm also grateful that I have a very excited dd12 yr old who is loving to help me wash, hang and sort baby's clothes. So I've now only two things left on my list to do.
I'm also grateful that our college girl will be home in 2 days! and that our college boy is attending a month long retreat
I'm just so grateful really for all my blessings, I have many, and not meaning just my children
I'm grateful for...
my husband because I have never been more in love than I am today.
my children because they are interesting, loving, and feisty people.
my grandbaby because there can't possibly be anything more joyful in the world than to welcome another soul to the family.
my parents because without them I wouldn't be here and they have passed on a legacy of marriage and dancing.
my siblings because they are the best people I know and they married the best people I know and they had interesting, loving, and feisty kids too.
my IRL friends because they keep my honest, make me laugh, and challenge me to be better.
my online friends because they use social media to better me, themselves, and the world.
my health, because while I struggle sometimes, I can do most anything I want or need to do.
baseball (you knew that was coming) craft beer (IPA) new music (Wake Me Up) and cookies!
OK, gotta run again, but would love for you to visit my blog - you'll see the post from today, inspired by this board and "Parenting Teens" as well as links to my Scoop.it page...it's been a good week for family friendly articles! http://familyanswersfast.wordpress.com/
If I don't get back, have a most Blessed Thanksgiving!
Love,
