Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers. God is Good. All the time. Dave is privileged. Our family could not do what we do without your support . Thank you for your continuing prayers .
We're good. I had no internet for an entire 36 hours, to include all of Wednesday. I made it . Happy Wednesday!

If I don't get back here before the BIG DAY, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
Love,

I've spent a lot of time this week praying. Praying for souls...lives cut short too soon. Praying for family near and far who are struggling with various issues. Praying for our priests...oh, please pray for them at this stressful and lonely time of year. They so want to be at home with family, but they are here for us instead. Praying for Angie and Dave and everyone like them who are giving to the neediest of all of us this Christmas.
Might I beg a prayer for one of our deacons? Ed's wife passed away very suddenly this fall. He will be without her for the first time in decades this Christmas. As always, he is organizing our parish holiday outreach to the homeless, but it must feel so sad to do it without his beloved Francine at his side. Please pray for Ed and for a huge outpouring of love, especially on Friday, Dec. 28, "Francine Friday II," love for our homeless brothers and sisters and love for Ed on what will be a sad day for him.
"Francine Friday I" was on the day after Thanksgiving...parishioners cooked turkeys and fixings and Ed and his volunteers brought holiday meals into the heart of the city to those most in need.
Thank you for praying.

Been praying for you ladies. Including at Mass this morning.
Which leads me to the how very busy our week has been. We had to schedule a time with father to get 5 of us into confession before Christmas. We couldn't make the penance service. So we started this morning with Mass and Confession. Then the kids had a practice for a little Christmas program they'll do when the Bishop is here.. TOMORROW.. which is the other big thing.. Our brand new Bishop will be here for a conference on the year of Faith tomorrow. So we have that too.
I've spent the afternoon sewing capes for dress up for the youngest 5. Only takes about 1 hr a piece and I'm almost done with #4. Yep making them right under the inquisitive noses I did manage to make the pink one (not hard to guess on that one) while the kids were gone. And I've just been answering the "what are you making?" question by saying "stuff" and going on about what I'm doing
My nephew is here though so that's distracting them too..
And all that is in addition to regular Christmas prep and I still need to do all the wrapping. I like doing it.. but depending on how it goes I may have to enlist help this year.

Been spending a lot of time praying this week, too. Praying for you all during the St. Anne Chaplet. Dear Aussie Annie reminded me of that prayer and devotion to St. Anne.
May you all be blessed this Christmas and 2013.
