I just found out about this Catholic blog site and carnival.
If you go to St. Blog's parish hall, you can register your blog with the list.
St. Blog's Parish Hall
They also have a webring. If you scroll down the site, I believe you can sign up with them there.
If you would like to know about the weekly carnivals you can sign up for "the Catholic Carnival's weekly Call for Submissions" by emailing: jay [at] living catholicism [dot] com.
He's hosting this Tuesdays blog carnival at

My understanding: on a designated day, one blog gathers links to different blogs on a certain topic.

Yes, the carnival host posts a call for submissions, and on the specified date organizes them all (links to people's posts on the topic) into one big post. I started the Carnival of Children's Literature (monthly), there is a weekly Carnival of Homeschooling and a Carnival of Education, and dozens of others. As Helen said, I have links in my sidebar (scroll down on the left) to several, plus there is blogcarnival.com, a site that lists carnivals on every topic you can think of.

Also, our own Amy(able) has just announced a brand new carnival she is going to host on Mother's Day—A Celebration of Heart and Home. Such a lovely idea, Amy--Brava!
She is accepting submissions through May 7th.
And the next Carnival of Children's LIt is back on my site in May...submit now through May 20th, any post related to children's books. Also, anyone interested in hosting a future CCL, drop me a note!

All these beautiful Mary Gardens, baskets, flowers ... memories of a visit to a shrine or praying the Hail Mary. Rosary activities, prayer groups with the children. Hopes, dreams of what you would like to accomplish. Notebooks, lapbooks, great Marian books ... Your favorite Marian devotion: angelus, Regina coeli, Magnificat, Rosary, miraculous medal, scapular. Your favorite Marian apparition...
Whatever has to do with the Blessed Virgin.
(I think I gave up using full sentences today.)
