Hi everyone!

I have a good friend who lives in Richmond and is beginning to think about homeschooling. Her kids are still young but I told her I'd ask around so she can begin to connect with other families and get some support as she begins this journey.

I am sure that in a big city like Richmond there are homeschool groups. Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can pass it on to her?

I don't know any homeschooling families in Richmond, but there is a large homeschool convention held there in June. Check it out here. It's not at all Catholic (very Protestant/Evangelical, in fact), but there are lots of vendors. She might be interested.

Also, the Immaculate Heart of Mary conference is only a few hours away in Northern Virginia. This one has lots of Catholic speakers and vendors. Here's the link to that one.
