Where do you get the *gorgeous* artwork that some of you use in your banners (Meredith, Amy, Cay and Rebecca to name a few

)?

Now that dh has CSS mostly figured out, we've been tinkering with banner images for my blogs. For my main blog I think I might like to try artwork (the sunrise photo is just not working out), but I have no idea where to look. Are they online someplace and are they free?

I hijacked my banner from a picture Karen E. had on her blog.

I just fell in love with the painting and had to do something with it.

Hi Dawn, I chose mine from the Homer study we did back in Feb (I think), and yes, it's public domain

I really enjoy seeing all the art in the banners as well! Let me know if you need more help, do you want me to brainstorm with you on the sunrise photo, it could just be a sizing issue.

Dh said he could work on it more this evening. I think the problem with the sunrise photo - other than all the blurry bits

- is it just doesn't seem to fit my blog's personality, kwim?!

I'm still looking through family photos too, because I do also love the look of Elizabeth's and Melissa's photo banners ...

I found this site; is the artwork here something I can save as an image and use? I guess I should read the fine print.

Ack! I may just keep it the blue color and call it a day!
