Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What are you reading for Lent?

I am reading Fulfillment of All Desire right now and I love it. It is great for Lenten reading. I also plan to read The Imitation of Christ.

I am planning to delve into some of John Paul II's works.
These have been popping up here and there lately for me... I think that is a hint

I am reading the Imitation of Christ for Children with the children and will be renewing my Marian Consecration with this new Consecraton Book: http://www.amazon.com/Days-Morning-Glory-Michael-Gaitley/dp/ 1596142448/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1329866293&sr=1-1

Do you have a link for this? Which age group would benefit from this? It intrigues me!

I am reading the Bible and the Catechism. I figured I would start with the basics. I wouldn't mind working in a life of a Saint or the Imitation, though. The Imitation might work well since it's so short. I wonder where I put mine....

Here is the link to Imitation of Christ for Children: http://www.amazon.com/Imitation-Christ-Children-Guide-Follow ing/dp/0809167336/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t

I am using it as a read a loud for everyone though I think it is probably best for the 5-10 crowd. It has 4-5 sections so lends itself well to Lent--our first time using it so not sure how it will go. Still trying to decide if it is a bit "fluffy" but kids are listening so far and there is some meat to it.
