Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We took our cat to the vet yesterday for her yearly check-up. She'd been chewing on my ds's lego pieces in her very naughty way earlier that day.

So my son is talking up a storm with the technician, and as the tech is walking out the door holding the cat to go weigh her, my ds pipes up that the cat tried to eat a lego piece.

The tech stopped dead and turned around and said, "Man, that's really bad. You might need that piece."

That is too funny. It made me really laugh so I had to read it to the whole room and it got a laugh from everyone old enough to understand the humor

I almost didn't read this post, but the title was too intriguing. So glad I came back to it!

I read the title the same way as HSMama. I thought, "I always knew Legos were trying to cripple me when I step on them at night -- and now they eat cats, too??"
