At my house, we (at least try to) impose a spending moratorium once November arrives...no buying stuff for yourself! This allows family members to Christmas shop without worry.
But...we all still compose Christmas lists, either on paper or in our heads...what's at the top of your list right now?

Oh my, I really would love to have a Silhouette, and there is no way I would buy one for myself. WAY too much of a splurge!

Electronic gadgets are on my wishlist.
I can't decide to ask for Kindle or iPad. And I really want an iPhone.
I know that's 3, but one would be a start.

Last year I wanted a Kindle. Now I have one. I really don't have anything big on my wish list. Lots of little things, I guess.

- yes the ideal gift...
I haven't considered my actual wish list so I'll just go with these newly released items I have excitedly joked with my family that I want for Christmas. Both have sentimental childhood draw...
I NEVER imagined that Lego set would be on MY list. But, it's just so full of memories...
Have been waiting for years for this series to be released on dvd/video. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster....

I'm hoping for a food processor :).
In the not-so-practical department, I'd love a pair of knee high boots!

I have asked for a good quality breadboard, and a recipe stand.
I know all, cooking items,

Mary
I probably saw every episode with my parents!
I wish someone would make me 'BETTER, STRONGER, FASTER"!
We are just finishing up our kitchen renovations + new fridge, new stove top, therefore my Christmas wishes must remain very, VERY modest. We haven't gotten the complete bill yet. I am sure it will be a very sobering moment when we open that envelope.

I'd need land to go with that one. I think that's in the "dream big" category for me.

And I nearly wrote that, too. I want the time to organize my photos, clean and organize my house, organize, digitize and label my library, and finalize my lesson plans (yes, I haven't finished that). Oh, and organize my basement and schoolroom.
I'm hopeless.
Oh, I did also want some appliances: food processor and extra freezer.

Loved that show!!! Wish I could somehow phoneticize that special bionic sound....remember it? Everytime he jumped or lifted something? Remember watching that with the Bionic Woman??
Hmmmmm.....Christmas wish? I'm hoping for a good chef's knife (which I saw reviewed in my Cook's Illustrated) and a universal knife block. And we're thinking about a bigger tiller, too, but I think instead I really want to work on building my kitchen garden out of cedar planks. So maybe....cedar planks.

Off-tangent, but I'm intrigued. I'd love to visualize what your plan is. I know you have a bigger garden than I have, but we need to replace our boxes this year, and I'm looking around for ideas.

Jen,
A bit off topic but I made three garden beds out of cedar fencing planks and some cedar 1x2. I found the plans on ana-white.com.
As for me, I'd like to get mostly new clothes: a workout outfit from Athleta, and some new gym shoes!

Well, my husband has an iPhone for work and I must admit I have a little phone lust. I still use a regular phone that's probably five years old: just calling, no text or data. I would love an upgrade! That said, my husband has offered to order me one multiple times and I always turn him down because I feel like the data plans are too pricey... I may just take him up on it in time for Christmas, though!
