Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is there a way to print blogs and save them as paper journals?

I don't know Elizabeth -- but I've been thinking the same thing. I would like to print and save mine, but haven't yet figured out a way, other than saving each day's entry.

Lissa -- if you still haven't gone to have that baby -- do you know?

I am eager to do this too. Back when I was in the *maybe someday* stage of starting a blog, I did print out a couple of blogs (Meredith's and Cay's as I recall) to use as a template for my own. But printing it this way (just by pressing PRINT while the page was open) cut off the edges and the pages didn't carry over clearly from one to the next.

I simply highlight my posts (photos and all), right click, choose copy and then I paste them into Word. I copy one month at a time.

I forgot to mention that blogger also gives you the option of automatically sending your posts to an e-mail address (I don't know whether typepad has this option). You can then print from the e-mail.

I found this information on the Typepad Knowledge base about exporting posts to a file on your computer. I don't understand all the jargon, so I'm not sure if this is the way to do it or not ...

I usually write my posts in Word to begin with and then paste them into Typepad. That way I've got a backup copy in case anything goes wrong, and also a convenient file to print from.

I also save my blog itself periodically as a "web archive" file. (This may be just a Mac thing, I don't know.) I could print that out, but with all the sidebars and color it would use too much ink.

Oh—one more thought—if you did want to print from the blog itself, so all the photos would be there, etc, you could print from your RSS feed screen (here's Elizabeth's, for example). The formatting might work out better that way.
