Does anyone have these Card Holders?
Do they work for young hands? Links to any other kind?
I've never seen them or known anyone who has them....and I really WANT them to work for my younger ones who can't hold their cards.

We had something like this when I was young, but the card holders were circular, not modified triangles. They worked wonderfully when we were young (under 8?).
However, you will still need to tell your children not to turn the card holders toward other players!

We had circular ones several years ago that were fantastic (they were yellow and had a little blue button in the middle)!! I haven't been able to find replacements in a few years (I think ours might have originally come from Hearthsong). Yes! They work and are VERY helpful! I'm going to order some to replace ours!!!!!!

This is what we had.
In reading a bit, it looks like some of the card holders come with thin foam on the inside of the plastic to help hold the cards in place. The ones we had were plastic with no foam - we did have cards that occasionally slipped out, but overall the card holder was a huge help. The triangle ones are also plastic holders with no foam.
This set of 4 is a round card holder with a thin layer of foam on each side to help hold the cards in place. It looks like the foam would be helpful in holding the cards in place, but little people would have to learn a technique for getting the cards inside between the two pieces of foam without crinkling the cards....so these have a downside, too.
These wouldn't hold as many cards at once, but get very good reviews and could stand up on their own if needed (which is sometimes handy for a little one).
So...that's a few other options for you to consider, Suzanne. I'm still leaning toward the triangle holders you originally linked...but thinking about those blue stand up holders, too. Let me know what you think!

You can make your own with 2 round plastic lids held together by a paper fastener (the brass thingy that you poke through and then spread out). We made them out of dip bowl lids once and they worked well.

My younger kids got the triangular ones in their Christmas stockings this past Christmas. They worked great but my 6yo, always curious as to how things are put together, broke his right away.
They do help little hands though!
