Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

And I don't know what to do with it!   What are some of the best apps?
Also, does anyone use audible.com or something like that for audiobooks.

I am really interested in getting audiobooks but don't really know how to go about it.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

I got one for Christmas. I know I am still underutilizing it, so I can't wait to see if anyone chimes in with some good tips!

So far I use iperiod (a recommendation from someone on here ) to track my months. I really like it so far. I and my dd use my ABC (the tv network) to watch some shows we miss

I have mostly free apps. But really I use it to check email and do some internet searches. For us, it's like a mini extra computer. We don't compile any docs on it (although we could if we got the apps for it) but it's nice to hand off the ipad to a kid to just do some research instead of hearing them complain about not getting a chance to get on the main computer.

We got one for Christmas here too. We use it a lot for Netflix. There are some documentaries that I would like my older ones to see and not the littles, so I send the iPad upstairs with the bigger kids so they can watch while I do another activity with the littles.

I’ve also downloaded some free times tables that the kids LOVE to do. They compete against each other for the best scores.

I know we’re still underutilizing ours as well, but everyone is enjoying it.

Mark bought one recently and I enjoyed it for awhile but we've fallen into a pattern of him on the Ipad iin his recliner and me on the sofa w/ my laptop.

I still prefer my laptop and he adores his Ipad. He's reading about 3 books at one time and he usually doesn't read much. That changed w/ the Ipad.

He also downloaded iMissal onto it.

Have fun w/ it!

Are you close to an Apple store? I bet if you brought it in at a less busy time they would help you with the basics. I have usually been very impressed with the customer service there.
