Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello Everyone! It has been a while since I have been around. Hope all of you have been having lots of good conversations here.

I have a question for Mac users. have you been successful using a player other than Ipods with your Macs and Itunes? I want to buy a player for my son . He is only 8 and I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on an Ipod for him. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,

Don't know what your budget is, but we've had good luck getting older versions of the ipods. They've worked seamlessly for us, but they're not nearly as expensive.
We weren't able to figure out how to get the mp3 players to work with itunes. the mp3 players were the last thing holding us to our PC, so we took the plunge and got the kids older ones (3rd generation, maybe) off ebay.

Good to see you, Natalia! I've been thinking of you...connected to a perfume topic here that I recently found and ...I now I wear Clinique "Happy", too! Thanks for the recommendation.

Now back to this topic .

Love,

Noreen, thanks for the tip. Believe it or not, I never thought of looking on Ebay. I got mine refurbished from Apple but it is still expensive for an 9 year old. I'll check into Ebay.

Angie, I still use Happy (when I remember). I am glad you like it.

Last year I bought an Mp3 player shaped like a race car for my ds, who was seven at the time. Same thing- did not want to invest heavily, as he tends to lose things.

It has worked well- no trouble using it with a Mac to download tunes or stories. I think I bought it at Kmart (it was on clearance so at the time I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it). HTH!
