Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies,

Wondering if you can help me here.....
Dh has his Phd graduation ceremony coming up middle of December.
I'm struggling to come up with a gift idea, perhaps anything other than a pen!

What do you think???

Thanks so much,
Marcia

A beautiful frame for his doctoral degree.

A briefcase.

A memento from his alma mater (to his taste, of course - my dad loves MIT anything to this day!).

Thanks for the suggestions Nancy.
I found this in a catalogue from home (the web store I would be buying from didn't display a picture so I googled and found the same product here)
I was thinking to put in his office at work?
gift idea

The link brought up the Word of God Sculpture. Is that the one? It is really beautiful, but manly at the same time

Yes, that's the one. Thanks for your thoughts Vanessa, I thought it made a powerful statement and is also quite masculine looking. Something to definately keep for a long time, maybe pass down to our son. I'll buy it, I'm running out of time too.....
